Part-Time: Morning Shift, 20 hours/week. Weekends as needed
POSITION REQUIREMENTS - Education / Experience
- Preferably a high school graduate or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write and comprehend English; ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to work hours as scheduled based on the requirements of the position assignment.
Working Conditions: Works in an appropriately lighted and ventilated environment subject to temperature
changes.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to move intermittently throughout the day, proper body mechanics required - bending, stooping,
turning, stretching, and reaching above the shoulders are involved.
- Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics/equipment that will enable these senses to function adequately
to assure that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Gathers soiled linen/resident personal clothing from designated areas.
2. Sorts, launders, and dries facility linens and resident personal clothing.
3. Sorts and folds dried linens and resident personal clothing.
4. Delivers clean linen/resident personal clothing to designated areas.
5. Cleans laundry area and equipment as directed.
6. Requests additional suppliers and replacement linen as necessary.
7. Performs other related duties and attends meetings as may be deemed necessary by Supervisor / Administrator and or Director
