About the Role: The Director of Field Training & Operations Execution Excellence is responsible for leading the strategy, development, and implementation of best-in-class training programs and operational execution standards across all field locations. This role ensures that field teams are equipped with the knowledge, tools, and processes needed to deliver consistent, high-quality customer experiences and operational performance. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader who blends training expertise with operational rigor and a deep understanding of field execution challenges. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Develop and drive a comprehensive field training strategy that supports operational goals, franchisee, restaurant teams & guest satisfaction, and team development across all field locations. Lead the creation and rollout of training content for new initiatives, product launches, process changes, and ongoing upskilling. Establish and continuously improve operational execution standards, toolkits, and playbooks to ensure consistency and excellence across all field operations. Partner closely with field leadership, operations, franchisees and cross-functional teams to identify gaps, address performance trends, and implement scalable solutions. Create a framework for measuring the effectiveness of training programs and operational execution, using KPIs, field feedback, and operational audits. Build and manage a high-performing team of field trainers, instructional designers, and execution leads. Support the onboarding and development of field leaders, franchisees and front-line teams with role-specific learning paths and coaching resources. Lead change management efforts tied to training and execution, ensuring smooth adoption of new processes, tools, and technologies. Collaborate the implementation and ongoing optimization of learning platforms, mobile tools, and digital resources used in the field. Champion a culture of continuous improvement, frontline empowerment, and operational excellence. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business or other. 8+ years of experience in field operations, training, or execution excellence, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Proven ability to lead large-scale training and operational initiatives across distributed or multi-unit organizations. Strong understanding of field operations, frontline team dynamics, and customer service delivery. Experience developing training for all types of learning styles and frontline accessibility (including mobile-first content). Exceptional leadership, project management, and interpersonal skills. Experience managing budgets, teams, and vendor partnerships. Proficiency in learning technologies, including LMS platforms, e-learning tools, and data analytics. Food / Restaurant industry experience. Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth or global organization. Familiarity with change management and organizational development. Must demonstrate strategic thinking and be results oriented. Ability to collaborate and influence up &across the business, as well as with external clients/partners. Demonstrates innovation in learning & training and change leadership. Ability to travel up to 60%. What do we Offer?
