Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mathematics Tutor based in Suwanee, GA. The Mathematics Tutor will be responsible for preparing and delivering engaging and personalized mathematics lessons, assisting students in understanding algebra and other math concepts, and addressing individual learning challenges. The tutor will monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and facilitate a positive learning atmosphere. Collaboration with students, parents, and other educational staff will be essential to support academic success.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Mathematics with expertise in Algebra and related topics
- Experience in Tutoring and Online Tutoring with the ability to adapt teaching methods to various learning styles
- Excellent Communication skills for effectively explaining concepts and engaging with students and parents
- Passion for mentorship, patience, and a commitment to student growth
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or related field (preferred)
- Previous experience in a teaching or tutoring role is an advantage
