Dance Instructor - The Studio Centre

The Studio Centre is looking for a passionate and experienced dance teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ballet along with a variety of styles, including, tap, jazz, and hip-hop. The teacher will also be responsible for creating and choreographing dance routines.

Responsibilities:

Tuesdays
Creative Movement (ages 3-5): 4:45 – 5:15 PM
Pre-Ballet (ages 5-6): 5:15 – 5:45 PM
Pre-Tap (ages 5-6): 5:45 – 6:15 PMTap Level 1: 6:15 – 6:45 PM

Thursdays
Ballet Level 1 (ages 7-10): 5:00 – 5:45 PM
Jazz Level 1 (ages 7-10): 5:45 – 6:15 PM

• Teach dance classes to students of all ages and levels
• Create and choreograph dance routines
• Assess student progress and provide feedback
• Maintain a safe and positive learning environment
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in dance or a related field
• 3 years of experience teaching dance
• Strong understanding of dance technique
• Ability to teach a variety of dance styles
• Ability to create and choreograph dance routines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
