About the Role
The Store: Fine Foods Market & Deli is seeking an experienced, hands-on Service Deli Manager to lead our prepared foods and service deli department.
This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll oversee daily operations, elevate food quality and presentation, and build a team that delivers an exceptional customer experience. We are not a typical grocery deli — this is a fast-paced, food-driven environment where quality, consistency, and hospitality matter.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and supervise the deli team across food prep, cooking, and service
- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and quality
- Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with all regulations
- Manage inventory, ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction
- Train and develop team members in food handling, service, and systems
- Create schedules, manage labor, and drive team accountability
- Ensure fast, friendly, and knowledgeable customer service
- Collaborate on menu development, merchandising, and seasonal offerings
- Handle cash management and ensure accurate register balancing
- Utilize POS systems (Aloha, Micros, or similar) for operations and inventory
What We’re Looking For
- 2 years of management experience in deli, prepared foods, or food service
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and developing teams
- Solid understanding of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations
- Experience with inventory management, ordering, and cost control
- Familiarity with POS systems (Aloha, Micros, or similar)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Passion for food, quality ingredients, and customer experience

- Catering, banquet, or hospitality management experience
- Culinary or fine dining background
