Position Overview
The Digital Marketing Intern will play a key role in advancing the digital presence and engagement strategy of The Stone Table. This role is designed for a motivated, detail-oriented individual who is eager to apply marketing principles in a mission-driven environment.
The intern will contribute to content development, digital organization, audience engagement, and strategic research, helping ensure that The Stone Table’s resources are accessible, compelling, and aligned with our broader mission.
Key Responsibilities
Website
- Organize and categorize existing digital assets (articles, videos, podcasts, resources) on the website to improve accessibility and user experience
- Assist in packaging content into thematic collections for targeted audiences
- Convert existing written content (articles, newsletters) into AI-generated voice formats
- Provide minor changes to the website utilizing WordPress to increase the user experience
Social Media Engagement & Content Creation
- Assist in developing social media content, including captions, graphics, and short-form posts
- Represent The Stone Table across social media platforms through active engagement
- Respond to comments and messages in a timely, thoughtful, and brand-aligned manner
- Create a digital ambassador program; identify, recruit, and collaborate with potential online cocreators
Digital Assets
- Create visually compelling infographics to communicate key ideas and initiatives
- Support the ongoing development of the BAM Ecosystem Map
- Assist with outreach to participating organizations and stakeholders
- Contribute to enhancing the functionality and usability of the interactive map
Marketing Research & Strategy
- Conduct research on digital engagement trends, audience behavior, and comparable organizations
- Provide clear, practical recommendations to increase reach, engagement, and impact
- Analyze performance metrics and suggest optimization strategies
Administrative Support
- Develop systems and processes to catalog and manage photos and video content
- Perform administrative tasks that support marketing initiatives and campaigns
- Assist with project coordination and internal communication as needed
Qualifications and Skills
Education
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Familiarity with Meta platforms (Instagram and Facebook)
- Experience with Canva required
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premiere Pro) and WordPress is a plus
Communication
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to create clear, compelling, and audience-aware content

Technology Requirements
