As a woman-owned, LGBTQ owned, Green Circle Certified salon in the heart of West Seattle, we’re passionate about creativity, inclusivity, sustainability, and building genuine community connections. We’re a busy salon with a growing demand and are looking to expand our team with a stylist who already brings some clientele while also having room to build behind the chair.

We’re currently looking for a passionate and motivated new talent or experienced stylist to grow with our team. This is the perfect opportunity for someone eager to continue refining their craft in a supportive, artistic, and education-focused environment where individuality is celebrated and creativity thrives. As a boutique salon we are able to offer competitive pay, with compensation starting as hourly or commission-based depending on service sales, providing strong growth potential as you build your clientele and career with us.

Duties

• Build strong client relationships through excellent communication and thorough consultations
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness practices to provide a safe, welcoming environment for clients and staff
• Engage in a collaborative, inclusive, and positive salon culture
• Has interest in participating in West Seattle art walks, community events, booths, and boutique collaborations
• Educate clientele on sustainable beauty practices and low-toxic product lines available for purchase while meeting retail quotas

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology license with comprehensive knowledge of hair styling techniques
• Experience with hair cutting, styling, highlighting & coloring
• Understanding of retail and salon software for booking clients
• Excellent communication skills to connect with diverse clients and team members
• Retail sales and effective upselling of salon services
• Dependable, punctual, and motivated to continue learning and evolving behind the chair

Pay: $22.00 - $100.00 per hour
