Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, smoothie, bubble tea and specialty beverages with precision and care.
- Operate POS systems to process transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Manage multiple orders at once by practicing excellent time management skills to keep service smooth and timely.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cash handling responsibilities with accuracy and integrity.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the café area, including food handling and basic food preparation.
- Engage with customers warmly, answer questions about menu items, and promote sales through friendly suggestions.
- Assist in food service operations by supporting food preparation and ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or background in coffee service is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests.
- Good math skills for cash handling, retail math, and basic calculations related to sales.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling, and basic food preparation techniques.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours.
