The Stillery is coming to Destin, Florida! We will be located in the 'old Hooters' building located at 15015 Emerald Coast Pkwy. We are approximately 6-8 weeks out from a start date as of today (7/28/2026.)
We are looking for an experienced Soud Chef/BOH MHMT. This is a 'working manager' position. The amount of admin/office work will be very minimal. We are looking for a candidate that is guest service focused, we are not a turn and burn restaurant. A strong work ethic, desire to learn, and the ability to lead by example are paramount.
The Stillery is a restaurant concept born in Nashville, TN. We have two locations in Nashville, Three in the Pheonix area, and one just outside of Denver, CO. Duties
- Support the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and presentation
- Supervise and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and sanitation
- Assist with menu planning and development, incorporating innovative dishes and seasonal ingredients
- Oversee inventory control and food ordering processes to minimize waste and optimize costs
- Ensure compliance with food safety sanitizing procedures and health regulations at all times
- Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions with precision and professionalism
- Manage shift schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and monitor staff performance to ensure smooth service flow
Skills
- Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining cuisine
- Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen environment
- Knowledge of dietary requirements and experience working within dietary departments
- Expertise in food production, food handling, and food safety standards
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams as a chef and foster a collaborative work environment
- Experience in inventory management, cost control, and kitchen management systems
- Excellent food service management skills including catering, restaurant operations, and shift management
- Familiarity with food industry best practices related to cooking, food preparation, and sanitation procedures
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
