What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1st Shift Caregiver position at The Stewart House?
The Stewart House is hiring a part time 1st shift (7a-3p) caregiver to join our awesome team! Applicant must love serving others, work well with a team, and be able to walk the majority of the shift.
Applicant will need to pass a drug screen, background check, fingerprinting, and pre-employment physical.

CNA license or caregiving experience preferred.
Must be able to work every other weekend.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) for senior clients
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Monitor and record vital signs of clients as needed
- Assist clients with mobility, including lifting and transferring when necessary
- Provide care for clients with memory care needs
- Engage clients in social activities to promote emotional well-being
- Drive clients to appointments or outings as required
Skills:
- Proficient in providing personal care and assisting with ADLs
- Knowledge of monitoring vital signs and recognizing changes in health status
- Experience in working with seniors and understanding their unique needs
- Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility challenges
- Familiarity with memory care techniques and approaches
- Knowledge of home care practices and safety protocols
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage clients in social interactions
Pay: $12.00 per hour
