Job Description
The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a contracted, school-based placement in Soldotna, AK for the 2026-2027 school year! This is a full-time Building Nurse role supporting a local K-12 district with nursing services.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Active RN license valid in Alaska
- Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN program
- Current BLS CPR/AED certification
- Knowledge of nurse delegation practices and state scope-of-practice regulations
- Experience working with a pediatric population
- Medication administration
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and exercise clinical judgment
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Student Care individualized care for a student
- Perform screenings (vision, hearing, scoliosis, BMI, blood pressure)
- Dispense medications according to physician orders and policy
- Respond to medical emergencies (falls, allergic reactions, fainting, injuries)
- Communicate with parents/guardians or family about health concerns
- Develop individualized health care plans (IHCPs) for chronic conditions
