Summary
As a Paraprofessional, you will support classroom activities and assist teachers in fostering a positive learning environment for students. Your core skills in classroom management and experience with children will be essential in helping to maintain an organized and engaging space. With premium skills in special education and literacy education, you will contribute to lesson planning and support diverse learning needs. Additionally, your relevant skills in behavior management and working with children with disabilities will enhance the educational experience for all students. Responsibilities:
- Assist students on a 1:1 or classroom aide basis within a school setting
- Work alongside lead teacher and fellow aides
- Implement individuals’ IEP and work on individual goals
- Work with student’s grade K – 12th and ages 5-22
- Assist with various behavioral levels including mild/mod/severe
- Assist with toileting and diapering as needed
Training:
- Autism training
- 4-hour online training in ABA basics

Qualifications:
- Experience working with children or special needs population
- 1 year behaviors experience (required)
Preemployment Testing:

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
