What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 60 semester credits OR associate's degree (or higher) OR passing score on ParaPro assessment
- Must have or be able to obtain PCA certification (can be pending to start)
- Experience working with children who are deaf & hard of hearing, visually impaired, and have additional needs in an educational setting is preferred
- American Sign Language (ASL) proficiency is preferred, but not required
- Candidates who are not yet proficient in ASL but demonstrate a strong desire and commitment to learn will be supported with on-the-job training and development opportunities to gain ASL proficiency
