Job Description
The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN) for a contracted, school-based placement in Shawnee Mission, KS for the 26/27 school year! This is a full-time private duty/1:1 role supporting a local K-12 district with nursing services.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Active LPN License in KS
- Current BLS CPR/AED certification
- Demonstrated competency in the specific skills required for the assigned student including:
- Pediatric skillset
- Trach/vent management
- Seizure management - competent with seizure action plans and rescue medications
- Tube feedings
- Pediatric diabetic care
- Oxygen and airway management
- Medication administration
- Catheterization
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to safely implement physician orders and care plans within LPN scope of practice
- School-based experience highly preferred
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Maintain continuous observation of assigned student throughout the school day
- Support chronic condition management and assist with medical procedures as outlined in care plans
- Provide first aid and medication administration
- Document care and communicate with school teams
- Accompany student during transportation and community-based activities when assigned
- Report significant status changes to supervising RN and family
