INVO, a proud member of The Stepping Stones Group, is seeking a dynamic, full-time Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher to join our growing team in Philadelphia, PA. Through our revolutionary IMPACT program model, we provide students with Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) the integrated resources they need to significantly reduce challenging behaviors and meaningfully improve school performance. Qualifications:
- Pennsylvania instructional certification with endorsement in Deaf and Hard of Hearing or Special Education. Emergency permit holders may be considered, provided they meet permit requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge of hearing impairments, communication development strategies, and special education laws
- Experience with assistive technology and ability to support its use effectively in educational settings
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills, with flexibility to travel between multiple school sites during the school year
- Preferred: familiarity with American Sign Language (ASL) and total communication philosophies
