Job Description
The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a contracted, school-based placement in Downey, CA for the 26/27 school year! This is a full-time private duty/1:1 role supporting a local K-12 district with nursing services.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Active CNA Certification
- BLS CPR Certification
- Pediatric and school experience preferred
- Demonstrated competency in the specific skills required for the assigned student including:
- Seizure management - competent with seizure action plans and rescue medications
- Medication administration
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently
- MUST demonstrate reliability, punctuality and accountability
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Provide all 1:1 support for students with needs ranging from developmental, behavioral, or physical disabilities, or medically fragile students
- Implement care plans as directed by school nurse
- Assist with adaptive equipment and assistive devices
- Document care and communicate with school teams
