What You'll Do
As a School-Based Behavior Specialist (ABAI), you'll be embedded within educational teams to apply ABA principles, guide school staff, and directly impact student success through modeling, coaching, and data-informed strategies. Here's how you'll make a difference:
- Model and implement behavior-analytic strategies to promote student success across academic and behavioral goals
- Support school personnel in the implementation of ABA-based programming and interventions
- Provide ongoing feedback, model techniques, and assist with competency assessments
- Collect and interpret behavioral data to inform instructional strategies and interventions
- Collaborate with special education staff, behavior teams, and administrators to ensure consistency and generalization of support
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention planning
- Assist with curriculum development through the lens of behavior analysis
- Support students during moments of behavioral escalation using proactive and responsive strategies
- Receive supervision, participate in team problem-solving, and develop the skills needed for independent clinical practice

Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years working with children or adolescents in educational or ABA settings
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to coach, collaborate, and adapt in dynamic environments
- Advanced RBT, BCaBA, or actively working toward BCBA certification (preferred but not required)
- Committed to ethical, student-centered care and continuous professional development
