Role Overview
As a Part-Time Center-Based Behavior Technician, you'll support children and clinical teams throughout the day by stepping into sessions as needed and, in some cases, carrying a consistent part-time caseload. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy variety, teamwork, and flexible schedules while making a meaningful impact.
What You'll Do
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy under BCBA supervision
- Step in to support sessions during staff breaks or absences
- Implement treatment plans using play-based, individualized strategies
- Collect accurate session data and progress notes
- Collaborate with supervisors and teammates to ensure continuity of care
- Help maintain safe, organized, and engaging therapy spaces
- Adapt quickly to different children, programs, and routines

- Reliability and flexibility in supporting the center

Qualifications & Essential Job Functions
- Minimum age of 18
- High School diploma or GED required
- Ability to actively engage in child-centered play and therapeutic activities
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including:
- Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
- Bending, kneeling, squatting, and transitioning between activities and locations
- Responding appropriately to challenging behaviors, which may include aggression or elopement
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Willingness to support coverage across different rooms or children within the center
- No prior ABA experience required - we train you

- Childcare or education (nanny, preschool teacher, tutor, paraprofessional)
- College students in psychology, education, social work, or related fields
- Mental health or human services roles
- Camp counselor, volunteer, or youth program experience
