Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production, timely service, and high-quality presentation.
- Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring consistency, freshness, and adherence to recipes and standards.
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
- Train and develop team members on food safety protocols, cooking techniques, customer service excellence, and operational procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations and safety standards.
- Assist with shift management, scheduling staff coverage to meet restaurant demands while optimizing labor costs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within quick service or fast food restaurants.
- Strong background in managing restaurant operations with supervisory experience in hospitality or food service management roles.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling experience is essential.
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures, food safety standards, and food handling regulations.
- Experience in fine dining or casual dining environments; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and develop team members effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence; ability to interview and select suitable staff members.
