The Stavrand Russian River Valley
Guerneville, CA Full Time
POSTED ON 9/13/2026

Summary:

Do you have experience providing delightful customer service in a winery, receptionist, restaurant, or retail position? Are you looking to grow professionally? Exercise your excellent customer service skills as our Front Desk Host- no prior hotel experience or college degree required!

As a Front Desk Host, you will handle typical front desk administrative tasks, including guest check-ins, check-outs, billing, and phone operations, all while ensuring the guest experience never feels transactional. Additionally, you'll assist with preparing rooms for arrival and serving our daily breakfast in our onsite restaurant. No prior serving experience? That's okay, we will train the right candidate.

Most importantly, you will exude warmth and welcome, delighting in assisting guests with a wide array of concierge inquiries, requests, and, yes, even complaints (though we hope to prevent those!). The Host will treat each visitor as a guest in their own home, letting their authentic charm and personality shine through while maintaining professionalism and focusing on guests’ expressed and unexpressed needs.

Our intimate team thrives on collaboration, helping out wherever needed to ensure our guests are well cared for.
