Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services while ensuring a memorable dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent guest services throughout their dining experience.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the OpenTable system or similar tools.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Deliver food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
- Monitor guest needs throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene at all times.
- Assist with training new staff members as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong math skills for handling transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest services and teamwork.
