We're Hiring for the Holiday Season!

The holidays are right around the corner, and The Station Burger at Kentucky Oaks Mall is looking for energetic, dependable, and hardworking individuals to join our crew!

As mall traffic picks up during the busy holiday shopping season, we're expanding our team to help us deliver the great food and friendly service our guests have come to expect.

Whether you're a student looking to earn extra money, someone wanting a second job for the holidays, or someone interested in a long-term opportunity, we'd love to hear from you!

We're hiring for both Front of House and Kitchen positions, with opportunities to continue employment beyond the holiday season for the right candidates.

Front of House Team Member Responsibilities

Our Front of House team is responsible for making every guest feel welcome and providing an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Greet guests with a smile and friendly attitude
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Handle register and payment transactions
• Prepare and serve beverages, including Mikey Mike's Lemonade
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized dining area
• Communicate clearly with guests and kitchen staff
• Maintain speed and accuracy during busy holiday rushes
• Assist teammates wherever needed
• Follow restaurant policies, procedures, and dress code
• Help create a positive experience that keeps guests coming back

Kitchen Team Member Responsibilities

Our Kitchen Team Members help deliver the freshly prepared food The Station Burger is known for, even during our busiest hours.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare and cook food according to Station Burger recipes and standards
• Maintain food quality, portion consistency, and accuracy
• Work efficiently during busy lunch, dinner, and holiday shopping rushes
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and temperature-control procedures
• Keep workstations clean, stocked, and organized
• Safely operate kitchen equipment
• Communicate effectively with Front of House and fellow Kitchen Team Members
• Complete food preparation, stocking, cleaning, and closing duties
• Follow proper food storage, rotation, and labeling procedures
• Support teammates to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time

Holiday Scheduling & Availability

We're currently building our team for the November through January holiday shopping season.

We are especially interested in applicants who can work:

• Weekends
• Evening shifts
• Busy holiday shopping days
• Black Friday weekend
• Winter break and school holidays
• Additional shifts during peak business periods

We understand that many applicants have school, family, or other work commitments. We offer flexible scheduling and will work with team members to accommodate availability whenever possible.

Applicants with strong availability during the holiday season are especially encouraged to apply.

Qualifications & Requirements

• No previous restaurant experience required
• No specific education required
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Dependable and reliable attendance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment
• Willingness to learn different positions
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry 5–10 pounds regularly
• Ability to follow restaurant safety and sanitation standards
• Flexible availability, especially during holiday shopping periods

Position Details

Location: The Station Burger – Kentucky Oaks Mall, Paducah, KY

Pay: $12.00 – $16.00 per hour
