Job Description
POSITION: Law Clerk/Senior Law Clerk for Judge Raymond F. Treadwell, for a one-year or two-year term beginning on or about August 16, 2027.
SALARY: Law clerks are paid according to the Florida State Court System Appellate Law Clerk Pay Plan, which currently provides as follows-
Graduation from an accredited law school. Strong academic credentials required. Law journal, moot court, or litigation experience preferred.
Competencies
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. General knowledge of legal principles and court rules. Ability to comprehend and analyze complicated factual matters with attention to details. Ability to effectively communicate ideas and concepts. Ability to exercise discretion, confidentiality, impartiality, and honesty in handling matters before the Court. Ability to work cooperatively with judges and court staff.
