This is a highly responsible and professional position serving as Food Support Worker within Food Services. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player who works seamlessly across all sections within the program office. This role requires the use of independent judgment, a proactive approach to responsibilities, and exceptional attention to detail. Specific Duties and Responsibilities include:
Set up Breakfast, Lunch, and Evening Meal Tray Line for the day
Assemble Breakfast, Lunch and Evening meal trays
Disassemble and clean tray line and area
Disasseble and clean trayline and area and set up for the next day meals
Attends inservice training and meetings as assigned
While on duty, follows and carries out Florida State Hospital, Unit/Department Safety Practices and Policies
Performs other related duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required for the position:
Knowledge of the equipment, procedures and techniques used in cooking, baking, and/or meat cutting.
Knowledge of the procedures for maintaining sanitary working conditions.
Ability to perform food service functions in one or more of the following areas: cooking, baking or meat cutting.
Ability to read and follow recipes and/or other instructions.
Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
