The State Group is seeking a Project Manager to work at our Evansville, Indiana, location. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in electrical, industrial construction projects, with strong leadership skills and a background in construction management or trades.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- As a Project Manager, you will interface with clients and contractors during pre- and post-tender phases to build strong, effective business relationships.
- Independently interpret customer bid requirements and prepare detailed, accurate labor, material, equipment, and expense summaries for review and final submission.
- Responsible for the direct management and trade supervision of project.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, and on budget.
- Conduct cost analysis upon project completion to evaluate performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure quality construction standards are met throughout all stages of the project.
- Comply with all governmental, company, and customer safety requirements, and actively promote a positive safety culture with the project team and on the job site.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks to ensure timelines, budgets, and quality expectations are met.
- Comply with the State Group’s standards and operating procedures, including those pertaining to ISO 9001:2015.
WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN THE TEAM
- 3 years of electrical construction project management experience.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Experience with Accubid estimating software and Microsoft Project.
- Proficiency in managing industrial projects from planning through execution.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, organize, and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with clients.
