Job Summary
The Star Dental Group of Warren, NJ (07059) is seeking a dedicated and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our phenomenal team!
The Star Dental Group is a private practice, one doc, one location, dental practice that provides exceptional, honest care. Each patient receives the personalized attention of our staff with an experience that is customized to their needs. Together with the support of our office staff, dentist and other clinicians and assistants, you will be empowered to achieve our mission in providing personalized, lifelong dental care.
The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations. This role requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet, assist and register patients as they arrive, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage incoming calls and inquiries
- Schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar for detnal staff.
- Collect patient information and verify insurance details accurately.
- Maintain patient files and ensure compliance with medical office systems.
- Utilize dental practice mangement software for patient management and record keeping. (We currently utilize Suzy Systems but are transitioning to CareStack- training will be provided)
- Assist with ADA dental coding, ensuring accurate billing processes.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
- Uphold confidentiality standards in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
-Processing and recording payments, both from insurance companies and patients
-Collaborate with dental providers to ensure timely and accurate patient treamtment plans
-Manage patient records and insurance claims processing
Requirements
- Previous experience in a dental office is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient care.
- Familiarity with dental terminology and coding practices is advantageous.
- Proficient in using office systems and software
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Hours:
Mondays: 8AM to 5:30PM (1 hr lunch)
Tuesdays: 8AM to 5:30PM (1 hr lunch)
Thursdays: 8AM to 5:30PM (1 hr lunch)
Fridays: 9AM to 1PM
Two Saturdays Per Month: 8AM to Noon
