Job Summary
Our Employee Benefits Sales team is hiring a Sales Manager! In this position you will focus on office sales achievement through leading a team of talented group employee benefits sales representatives. You'll work collaboratively with the local service manager, ensuring a one team vision between sales and service team(s). This role is integral to the local and regional success of the Employee Benefits organization, reporting directly to the Regional Vice President of Sales. The territory this position oversees encompasses Houston, San Antonio, Austin, the southern half of Louisianna (Baton Rouge & New Orleans), and parts of Mississippi.

Salary Range:
Compensation is made up of a base salary, commissions, and year-end bonuses. Total compensation range: $300k - $450k

- Prior experience selling employee benefits is a requirement of this role*
- Prior experience managing, leading & coaching employee benefits sales professionals is a requirement of this role*
- Location within the territory is required for this role. Houston area preferred *
- Ability to travel throughout the Houston area several times a month and the remainder of the territory 1-2 times per quarter, or as needed, is a requirement of the role*
- Sales experience: 8-10 years of successful experience selling employee/group benefits.
- People management experience: Prior experience managing employee benefits sales representatives OR experience in a senior level sales role with responsibility for coaching/mentoring/training other sales reps.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required in lieu of experience.
- Licensing: Life and Disability insurance license required. If you don’t currently possess these licenses, you must obtain them upon hire.
- Travel: Ability to travel throughout the territory as needed is a requirement of this position.
