Job Summary
You will be supporting our business growth, profitability, and retention of clients in your region by developing and maintaining an effective account management strategy for assigned accounts within our Employee Benefits Sales and Service office. Assigned groups will include cases with 250-1999 lives. These cases can have complicated plan designs, sensitive or problematic administrative issues, multiple divisions and locations or groups assigned to key producers. Requiring you to develop effective business relationships and communicate with diverse audiences in many different settings.

Functional Skills
- Develop and execute strategies for assigned accounts to achieve retention and growth targets.
- Ensuring prompt issues resolution for existing accounts.
- Educating clients on products and value proposition to expand client relationships (share of wallet).
- Develop relationships with assigned clients and the producer (broker/consultant) of the account.
- Establishes internal partnerships to ensure prompt resolution to any issues may become aware of during discussions.
- Holds regular discussions with decisions makers at large accounts to educate on market trends and associate needs based on in-depth market knowledge.
- Develop and execute strategy for large account portfolio retention and growth.
- Help implement and support the corporate strategy.
- Provide feedback on changes in the marketplace.
- Experience selling voluntary benefits.
- 4-year bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
- 4 or more years of experience (Preferred)
- In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Life & Health License (Required)
- CEBS, CLU, and/or ChFC (Preferred)
- Demonstrated ability optimizing customer retention.
- Strong focus on customer service.
- Developed and mature conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to grow portfolio over a period.
