Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Manage guest inquiries professionally, resolving issues swiftly to ensure satisfaction
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food preparation and delivery, especially during busy hours
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties using POS systems like OpenTable
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to multitask efficiently while managing time effectively during peak hours
- Culinary experience or familiarity with food preparation and food handling standards is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in serving or host/hostess roles with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Basic math skills for cashiering, bill splitting, and transaction accuracy
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment
