What are the responsibilities and job description for the Therapist - Clinic - Full-Time | Days position at The Staff Pad?
The Staff Pad has partnered with a reputable
healthcare organization in Manchester, TN, to hire an experienced Therapist to
join the clinic recovery team. In this role, you will provide compassionate individual
counseling and case management services, using a variety of substance abuse
treatment modalities to support patients throughout their recovery journey.
You will collaborate closely with the
interdisciplinary care team, provide educational and administrative support as
needed, and promote high-quality, patient-centered care while adhering to
established policies and standards.
Schedule: Full-Time | Days | Monday – Friday | 7:30
AM – 5:00 PM
- Schedule Options: 40 hrs/week (4 × 10-hour days or 5
× 8-hour days) | 30 hrs/week (3 × 10-hour days)
What You’ll Do
- Conduct
intake and comprehensive assessments of new patients
- Develop
an individualized Plan of Care/Treatment Plan for new patients
- Provide
individual counseling and therapeutic support
- Maintain
patient confidentiality in accordance with applicable standards
- Coordinate
care with outside providers, including referrals and submission of
requested documentation
- Identify
patient needs requiring professional care beyond addiction and recovery
services, including dual diagnoses
- Manage
an appropriate caseload of up to 8–10 patients per day, including required
documentation
- Complete
all patient charting within 24 hours of each visit
- Maintain
an organized and professional work area
- Travel
to assigned sites as required
Other Duties and Responsibilities
- Consult
with physicians and other therapists regarding patient care
- Return
and respond to phone calls within 24 hours
- Attend
staff, therapy, and treatment team meetings as directed
What We Are Looking For
Education, Licenses and Certifications
- Graduate
degree in Social Work, Professional Counseling, Clinical Mental Health
Counseling, or a closely related field required
- Active
Tennessee LCSW or LPC/MHSP license, or eligibility to obtain licensure
within 24 months of hire
- Licensure
or eligibility for licensure in a closely related field in Tennessee may
be considered
- Valid
driver’s license required

- Willingness to participate in random
drug testing
- Knowledge of the 12-Step Program
