Physical Therapist | Patient-Focused Rehab Team

The Staff Pad has partnered with a renowned healthcare organization in Hamilton, TX to hire a compassionate Physical Therapist to join a growing Physical Therapy team.

In this role, you will administer physical therapy treatments and therapeutic modalities as prescribed by a physician to support patient recovery, improve mobility and function, reduce pain, and promote overall rehabilitation goals.

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate patients, develop & support treatments discharge plans under physician direction
  
• Prepare and educate patients on prescribed treatments
  
• Administer therapeutic exercises, modalities, and mobility training while educating patients
  
• Monitor patient progress and document treatments accurately
  
• Provide age-appropriate care for patients across lifespan in accordance with departmental policy
  
• Perform routine equipment maintenance as directed
  
• Clean and properly store equipment after use
  
• Maintain confidentiality while providing professional, patient-centered service
  
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
  

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  
• Current Texas Physical Therapy license and CPR certification
  
• Knowledge of physical therapy equipment
  
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
  
• One year of physical therapy experience preferred
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the workday
  
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 300 pounds, including assisting patients as needed
