What You’ll Do
Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls
Provide advanced life support (ALS) care in the field
Assess, stabilize, and transport patients safely
Administer medications, IV therapy, airway management, and cardiac monitoring within scope of practice
Communicate critical patient information to dispatch and receiving facilities
Complete accurate patient care documentation and reports
Ensure ambulances, equipment, and supplies remain response-ready at all times
Work collaboratively with hospital staff, law enforcement, and fire personnel to provide coordinated patient care
What We’re Looking For Required:
Current Texas Paramedic or Licensed Paramedic certification
Valid driver’s license
AHA CPR Certification
Preferred:
1 year of EMS or emergency medical experience
Strong communication and critical-thinking skills
Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations
