The Staff Pad is proud to partner with
a leading healthcare provider in Helena, MT to recruit a dedicated Medical
Assistant for a busy Orthopedic Clinic.
This is an exciting opportunity to
join a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where you'll provide exceptional
patient care while supporting both surgical and non-surgical orthopedic
services.
Schedule
- Full-time, 5 days per week
- Weekend and/or holiday rotation may be required
What
You’ll Do
Key
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care support
in a fast-paced orthopedic clinic
- Assist physicians with surgical and non-surgical
orthopedic procedures
- Perform cast applications and removals, fracture
care, dressing changes, brace fittings, and patient education
- Support inpatient and outpatient orthopedic care
- Apply and monitor mobilization and immobilization
devices, including slings, braces, traction equipment, and continuous
passive motion machines
- Coordinate surgery and procedure scheduling
- Ensure all required testing, authorizations, and
resources are coordinated prior to procedures
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Degree in Athletic Training or related healthcare
field preferred
- Previous experience in a hospital, orthopedic,
sports medicine, or physician office setting preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, human anatomy,
and physiology
Licensure & Certifications
- BLS certification required
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
required within 6 months of hire
- Orthopedic certification required within 6 months
of hire
