What are the responsibilities and job description for the EEG/ECG Tech position at The Staff Pad?
Key Responsibilities
Perform EEGs and ECGs in accordance with clinical standards
Prepare, operate, clean, and maintain diagnostic equipment
Verify orders and accurately document procedures in the electronic medical record
Manage ECG workflow within a computerized system to ensure timely processing
Monitor patient safety and comfort during procedures
Collaborate with providers, nursing staff, and clinical teams
Participate in required on-call rotations
Support departmental operations as assigned
Qualifications
EEG, ECG, or similar diagnostic experience preferred
Registered EEG Tech or ABRET certification preferred
Strong customer service and basic computer skills
Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Certifications
BLS certification required

Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing schedules
Professional, empathetic approach to patient care
Ability to read, write, and complete basic documentation accurately
