The Staff Pad has partnered with a leading fine art logistics company to identify dependable and detail-oriented Art Handlers / Movers. This organization specializes in the transportation, handling, and installation of high-value personal effects, fine art, and antiques.
This role is ideal for individuals with moving, warehousing, or logistics experience who take pride in hands-on work and attention to detail. You will work closely with drivers and team members to ensure valuable items are handled safely, documented accurately, and delivered with care.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with collections and deliveries of fine art, antiques, and personal effects (local and interstate)
- Safely pack, handle, and transport fragile and high-value items
- Support loading and unloading of trucks using proper equipment and techniques
- Assist with installation projects as needed
- Complete condition reports and job-related paperwork accurately
- Verify daily job details using trip manifests and communicate any changes to management
- Work with drivers to ensure vehicles are clean, safe, and properly prepared
- Support warehouse operations, including inventory management and scanning items
- Maintain a high level of care and attention to detail on every job
- Follow all safety procedures and company protocols
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience in moving, warehousing, logistics, or art handling preferred
- Basic understanding of inventory processes and handling techniques
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to complete detailed paperwork and condition reporting accurately
- Professional demeanor and ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
- Experience using equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies, and hand trucks
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to push/pull up to 120 lbs using appropriate equipment
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift throughout the workday
