Role Description
The Beverage Director is a full-time, on-site position located in Atlanta, GA. The role involves overseeing the beverage program, curating wine and dynamic cocktail offerings, and ensuring exceptional service standards are met. Responsibilities include managing beverage inventories, developing innovative menus, training and mentoring team members, and working closely with vendors to maintain high-quality selections. The Beverage Director will collaborate with the culinary team to enhance guests' dining experiences, maintain compliance with industry regulations, and manage beverage program budgets effectively to achieve operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in the Beverage Industry and Food Service
- Expertise in Sommelier practices and Beverage Program Development with a particular strength in mixology
- Proficiency in Budgeting and Cost Management related to beverage operations
- Background in Culinary Skills and an understanding of food and beverage pairings
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
- Exceptional ability to provide luxury guest service and enhance customer experiences
- Sommelier certification or related qualifications are preferred
