The SAP EAM Functional Lead will be responsible for aligning SAP solutions with business requirements in asset management, maintenance planning, work management, equipment lifecycle management, and compliance tracking. Responsibilities
- Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of the SAP EAM module.
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand operational challenges, and define scalable SAP solutions.
- Translate business processes into system requirements and functional specifications.
- Lead workshops, blueprinting sessions, and end-user training.
- Configure SAP EAM components.
- Collaborate with developers for custom enhancements, reports, and interfaces.
- Drive integration between EAM and other SAP modules and external systems.
- Provide expert guidance on SAP best practices and industry standards for asset management.
- Develop test plans and coordinate system testing (unit, integration, and UAT).
- Manage data migration and cutover activities related to equipment and maintenance data.
- Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement recommendations.
- Lead or support change management and end-user adoption strategies.
- Mentor junior SAP team members and act as the SME for SAP EAM within the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on SAP EAM functional experience.
- At least 2 full lifecycle SAP EAM implementations in a lead or senior consultant role.
- Strong understanding of maintenance processes in the utilities industries.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA applications related to EAM.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- The anticipated hourly rate range for this position is $110/hour and up, plus travel expenses, depending on experience; this range is subject to adjustment
