The Springs of Broadway is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as our MDS Coordinator. This position is ideal for an RN who is passionate about resident care planning and compliance, with strong organizational and assessment skills.

Position Overview:
As the MDS Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all MDS assessments. You will help drive care plan development, quality outcomes, and compliance with federal and state guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete MDS assessments for admissions, annuals, quarterlies, and significant changes
Conduct risk assessments (Braden, fall risk, incontinence, etc.) and CAAs as required
Develop and update resident care plans in coordination with the clinical team
Participate in care plan meetings, standard of care reviews, and quality assurance programs
Oversee documentation accuracy and provide staff training on MDS-related processes
Maintain Medicare and HMO documentation, including ABNs and certifications
Collaborate with therapy, nursing, and billing departments on PPS and scheduling
Assist with audit prep and participate in survey processes
Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of an approved RN program
Current RN license in the state of Arkansas
Experience in MDS coordination and RAI process preferred
Strong understanding of long-term care regulations and documentation standards
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Willingness to participate in training, QA programs, and interdisciplinary collaboration
