About the Role
As a RN/LPN Treatment Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of care for our residents. Your primary goal will be to prevent facility-acquired pressure ulcers and support exceptional wound healing outcomes. This position requires a proactive approach to teaching, training, and direct resident care.
You’ll collaborate with our nursing and CNA teams to provide ongoing education, risk assessments, and prevention strategies. You will also perform wound care treatments, document progress, and follow physician-directed care plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct skin risk assessments and implement preventive interventions.
- Deliver wound care treatments as prescribed by the attending physician.
- Provide direct patient care and assist in developing personalized care plans.
- Offer education and training for CNA and nursing staff on best practices in wound prevention and treatment.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable medical and clinical standards, as well as facility policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, care plans, and patient progress.
Qualifications
- Active RN or LPN License in the State of Arkansas (in good standing with no restrictions).
- Strong ability to plan, supervise, and evaluate nursing care.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members to deliver outstanding patient care.
- Experience in wound care is preferred but not required.
