Job Title: IT Project Manager (Contract) – ERP Implementation
Location: Rancho Mirage, CA (On-site, Hybrid, or Remote)
Contract Duration: Approximately 9–12 months (project-based)
Organization: The Springs Community Association & Country Club

The Springs Community Association & Country Club is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead a major enterprise software implementation project. This role will oversee the migration from several existing systems — including Club Essential (Clubsoft), Enumerate Central, and DwellingLIVE — to the Northstar Club Management Software platform.

This is a contract-based position focused exclusively on the successful planning, coordination, and execution of this enterprise system migration. The selected candidate will work closely with executive leadership, department heads, vendors, and internal IT staff to ensure the project is delivered on time, within scope, and with minimal operational disruption.

The Springs is a private residential country club community with 817 homes, over 200 golf members, and multiple operational departments, making this a complex, multi-department ERP-style implementation impacting finance, membership, operations, security, and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end project management of the Northstar Club Management Software implementation.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan, timeline, and milestone tracking framework.
  • Coordinate project activities across departments including membership services, finance, security, food & beverage, golf operations, and HOA administration.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between The Springs leadership, internal IT, and Northstar Technologies implementation teams.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and potential project blockers; develop mitigation strategies.
  • Manage data migration planning and validation from legacy systems.
  • Oversee system configuration, testing phases, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Ensure appropriate training programs and documentation are created for staff adoption.
  • Facilitate regular project status meetings, reporting, and executive updates.
  • Ensure project milestones, deliverables, and budgets remain on track.
  • Lead change management efforts to support adoption of the Northstar platform across departments.
  • Conduct discovery sessions with department leaders to document current workflows and design future state processes in the system.
  • Manage vendor deliverables and escalation with the Northstar implementation team.
  • Oversee data governance including data cleanup validation and migration from legacy systems
  • Coordinate system access roles permissions and data security standards.
  • Manage third party integrations such as POS accounting payment processing and gate access systems.
  • Develop the go live plan cutover strategy and post implementation stabilization.
  • Facilitate executive decisions on system configuration workflows and implementation priorities.
  • Additional qualifications that may be helpful to include:
  • Experience managing multi department operational software implementations.
  • Experience with club operations systems membership systems POS accounting or property management platforms

Project Scope

The Northstar implementation will replace several core operational systems currently used by The Springs:

  • Club Essential (Clubsoft) – Club management and membership operations
  • Enumerate Central – HOA accounting and community management
  • DwellingLIVE – Gate access control and visitor management

The Northstar platform will consolidate these functions into a single integrated club and community management system, requiring coordination across multiple departments and operational workflows.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience managing enterprise-level IT projects
  • Demonstrated experience managing ERP or enterprise software implementations
  • Strong experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
  • Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and vendor relationships
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Experience managing data migrations and enterprise system rollouts
  • Strong documentation, reporting, and stakeholder management abilities

· Additional qualifications that may be helpful to include:

· Experience managing multi department operational software implementations.

  • Experience with club operations systems membership systems POS accounting or property management platforms

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing ERP systems or integrated business management platforms
  • Experience working with hospitality, membership organizations, country clubs, or private clubs
  • Familiarity with club management or HOA management software
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or similar project management certification
  • Experience coordinating complex multi-system migrations

Work Arrangement

Role may operate in a hybrid structure, on site presence will be expected during key phases such as discovery training testing and go live availability for periodic on-site visits during critical phases of the implementation may be required.

Contract Terms

  • Project-based contract expected to run approximately 9–12 months
  • Potential for extension depending on project needs

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
