Job description
As a Night Auditor you will welcome overnight guests and balance accounts from the day shift. Night Auditor responsibilities include checking in guests, handling their requests and taking reservations. As a Night Auditor your customer service should be conducted in a professional manner according to The Springhill Suites high standards of quality.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Welcome all guest and team members into the hotel
- Ensure lobby area is warm, welcoming and inviting
- Check in guests, answer phones and take reservations
- Prepare for guest's arrival
- Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
- Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
- Work with other departments to ensure a positive guest stay
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests
- Communicate with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs
- Provide quick resolution to guest concerns
- Prepare front desk reports
- Assist with resolving out-of-balance accounts
- Balance the cash drawer
- Help prepare the front desk for the next shift
- Should be highly organized, have strong oral and written communication skills
- Collect and record all reports relating to total hotel sales for the day
- Outstanding people skills
- Trustworthy and results-driven
Qualifications:
- You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Good problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service skills
- The ability to multitask
- Good written and verbal communication skills

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
