The Role:
We are seeking a tech-savvy High School Science Teacher with proven expertise as a facilitator - teacher. You will serve as a facilitator of learning, using digital tools to bridge understanding and help every student achieve their full potential in an online or hybrid environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- You Will Deliver Rigorous Science Standards in your science instruction.
- You Will Provide Data-Driven Instruction for WSA students leading them to mastery and prepare students for SAT/ACT benchmarks.
- Virtual Lab Facilitation: Lead students through Interactive Simulations and Phenomena-Based Investigations that align with 3-D science standards.
- Student Engagement: Foster the "4Cs of STEM": Critical thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, and Communication—through digital discourse and collaborative projects.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Scientific field (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) or Education.
- Certification: Valid State Teaching Certification in Secondary Science (6-12).
- Software Expertise: Familiarity with (Twig Science, or Galileo)
- Online Pedagogy: Demonstrated experience in remote "Intelli-Sync" or synchronous/asynchronous instruction.
