Operational Leadership
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (including, but not limited to)
- Direct and manage daily operations across surgical services, inpatient/outpatient care, and ancillary departments.
- Ensure alignment of operational practices with the hospital’s mission, vision, and strategic goals.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance patient experience.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on long-term growth plans, including service line expansion and technology adoption.
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and accreditation standards (e.g., CMS, State Agency, Louisiana Department of Health (LDH), and/or Joint Commission, if applicable).
- Oversee quality improvement programs to achieve superior operational outcomes.
- Partner with the Financial Controller to manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Drive operational initiatives that support revenue growth and margin improvement.
- Lead and mentor department directors and operational managers, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Promote employee engagement and professional development across all operational teams.
- Build strong relationships with physicians, staff, and external partners to support collaborative care delivery.
- Represent the hospital in community and industry forums as needed.

Requirements
Education:
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in hospital operations, preferably in surgical or specialty care settings.
- Proven track record of managing complex healthcare operations and driving measurable improvements in quality and efficiency.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, surgical services, and hospital operations.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Operational efficiency (e.g., OR utilization, patient throughput).
- Quality and safety indicators (e.g., infection rates, readmission rates).
