About the Role
Spice Hut is looking for a reliable, hardworking team member to join our small but dynamic operation. This is a part-time position with a mix of retail and production responsibilities. You’ll primarily work at our retail location serving customers and preparing drinks, with occasional shifts at our warehouse assisting in chai production.
Key Responsibilities
Retail (Primary Duties)
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service and drive sales
- Prepare beverages (including chai and other drinks)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment
- Restock products and monitor inventory levels
- Handle transactions accurately
Warehouse (Occasional Shifts)
- Assist with chai tea production and packaging
- Follow established processes to ensure product quality
- Support general warehouse organization and cleanliness
Qualifications
- Prior barista or retail/sales experience is a plus, but not required
- Availability in the mornings/early afternoons and weekends preferred
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs repeatedly
- Comfortable standing and moving for extended periods
- Able to work independently and stay focused on tasks
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Flexible and willing to take on a variety of responsibilities
