The Speech Spot is a warm, small pediatric therapy clinic in South Kingstown, RI offering speech and occupational therapy services to children and families. We are growing and looking for a pediatric Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) to join us on a part-time, contract basis. This role is well-suited for an OT looking to pick up a few additional hours, with the potential for an increasing caseload and expanded hours over time as the clinic continues to grow.
Position Overview
This is an ideal role for an OT who:
- Is looking to add a few flexible hours to their current schedule
- Wants a supportive, low-pressure clinic environment
- Enjoys pediatric therapy without corporate productivity demands
- Is open to a gradually growing caseload
You'll provide pediatric occupational therapy services and evaluations in an outpatient clinic setting, working collaboratively with other therapists and families.
Responsibilities
- Provide pediatric occupational therapy services to children with a variety of developmental needs
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and write clear, family-friendly reports
- Develop individualized, play-based treatment plans
- Collaborate with other therapists and caregivers
- Maintain timely documentation (EMR support provided)
Schedule, Compensation & Growth

Qualifications
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) in Rhode Island
- Pediatric experience preferred (early intervention, outpatient, or school-based)
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
