The Speech Pathology Group & Rehab Services of CT (SPGCT) is growing and looking for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our school-based therapy team in Ridgefield, Connecticut.

This is a great opportunity for a pediatric SLP who enjoys working with children, collaborating with educators and related service providers, and creating fun, functional therapy experiences that help students participate more fully in their school environment.

In addition to physical therapy, SPGCT offers families a broad scope of services including speech-language therapy, occupational therapy, ABA, and aquatic therapy, creating exciting opportunities for multidisciplinary collaboration.

Speech and Language Pathologist Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose student's communication; articulation, fluency, voice, language disorders.
  • Create and manage measurable goals/objectives for the student's intervention plan
  • Work amongst other service providers on the multi-disciplinary team
  • Provide high quality speech-language therapy service to students
  • Select and/or prepare speech-language instructional materials
  • Provide carryover activities for students/ team / families
  • Keep current with professional literature and attend seminars on a regular basis to maintain and update professional skills. Be a lifelong learner
  • Write and maintain confidential client case notes and reports, as well as information for students, and other professionals
  • Maintains safe and clean working environments by complying with procedures, rules and regulations

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • CF or CCC
  • CT licensure
  • Pediatric and/or adolescent experience (preferred)
  • School Based experience (preferred)
