Position: Reliability Engineer
Location: Barstow, Florida Area
Full-Time Position - 100% ON SITE
Position Summary:
The Spear Group has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Reliability Engineer to further their career supporting our client company with their chemical manufacturing operations (fertilizers). This position is on site at their Florida location. This role will support the manufacturing operations with a focus on increasing equipment uptime, reliability, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaison between Maintenance and Project Engineering.
- Preventive Maintenance (PM) effectiveness validation.
- Monitor predictive maintenance programs.
- Assist in deploying the PDM condition based monitoring system.
- Assists Maintenance Supervisors and Planners with technical maintenance issues.
- Establishes maintenance best practices.
- Performs RCA/RCFA’s on contributors of yield, utilization, and capacity losses (attributed to equipment, processes, etc.).
- Identifies and resolve chronic failures.
- Establishes and monitor predictive maintenance program.
- Calculates asset life-cycle and costs.
- Performs criticality analysis and defines critical spares.
- Conducts asset risk/health analysis.
- Provides support to site’s Business Interruption/Loss Prevention programs.
Required Experience and Education:
- Mechanical Engineer or Chemical Engineer degree from an accredited university.
- Experience in fertilizer manufacturing, granulation processes, surface mining.
- Experience with piping, pressure vessel evaluations and failure analysis
Compensation based on relevant experience.
