The South Reporter newspaper is looking for its next reporter/writer! The Voice of Marshall County, Mississippi with a longstanding history of community involvement seeks someone with an equal desire to be involved in the community and tell its stories. There are a lot of stories to tell in Holly Springs, the county seat, home to Rust College, a city filled with history, and the birthplace of journalist Ida B. Wells-Barnett. We also provide content for our sister publication, the Pigeon Roost News, covering nearby Byhalia and northern Marshall County. Byhalia is considered one of the fastest-growing communities in the state with major development happening in the area.
