Duties
- Research, develop, and write news stories that are accurate, engaging, and aligned with journalistic standards using AP style guidelines.
- Conduct interviews, gather information through research, and verify facts to ensure credibility and reliability of reports.
- Capture compelling photographs to complement news stories, including editing skills.
- Proofread and copy edit all content meticulously to maintain clarity, accuracy, and consistency before publication.
- Collaborate with editors and team members to brainstorm story ideas, plan coverage strategies, and ensure timely delivery of content.
Skills
- Proficiency in AP style writing for clear, consistent journalism that adheres to industry standards.
- Strong photography skills with an eye for capturing impactful images that enhance storytelling.
- Excellent research skills combined with fact-checking expertise to ensure accuracy in all reports.
