Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Nurse Practitioner Dermatology role based in Mishawaka, Indiana. The Nurse Practitioner will provide dermatology patient-centered care in a dynamic medical setting. Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, diagnosing illnesses, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and providing education on preventive healthcare. Collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care is an essential part of this role.
Qualifications
- Advanced clinical skills in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Proficiency in managing electronic health records (EHR) and familiarity with medical technologies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient education and collaboration with medical teams
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-focused environment
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license and certification required
- Experience in a multi-specialty or ambulatory care setting preferred
- Experience in Dermatology preferred
- Commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality patient care
- Master's degree in Nursing or equivalent advanced practice nursing education
